Our participation in the 1st Annual Scientific Conference, Annual General Meeting, and Election, held from 12th to 14th October, 2023 at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, stands as a clear reflection of this commitment.

The conference focused on “The Management of Congenital Talipes Equinovarus: The Ponseti Method,” a globally recognized and evidence-based approach to the management of clubfoot. Deliberations during the event reinforced the importance of early diagnosis, structured correction, and adherence to best practices in achieving optimal clinical outcomes, particularly in paediatric orthopedic care.

This engagement reaffirmed our collective responsibility to uphold professional competence, continuous development, and ethical standards within orthopedic practice. It also highlighted the value of collaboration among healthcare professionals and institutions in strengthening service delivery across Nigeria.
